I ran into this excellent video on YouTube. It’s really great considering the way it makes you think about how Web 2.0 is developing. Basically we are using the internet, and the internet is using us. At one point it mentions how each time we create a new link or hypertext, we are teaching the internet new content, or giving it more life. As it expands and evolves into too much information, who will be able to organize the content it so that it can actually be found? Sure enough we have been leaving this task to Google, without our intervention nor hearing our suggestions. Now with Web 2.0, there are Social Bookmarks, Blogs, Podcasts, Wikis… user sharing content is what it’s all about. We are setting the stage. Watch the video!
